I think I prefer this to the Little Golden Book version of the movie。 It follows the movie plot closely but with unique art。 The writing is simpler than the Golden book and easier to follow for a little kid。

I liked this mother and daughter relationship story over a daughter finding her identity while her mother cannot accept her daughter from being independent。 I think every mother can relate to this situation of their child growing independently and not needing help from their parents。 I liked the digital art work that you seen in Pixar films。
